Area Information
Tigaki (or Tingaki) lies just away from Kos town on the North part of the island. It is a long 10 km of white sandy beach. The shallow waters make Tigaki ideal for kids and an easy place to swim and have fun with the waves. The hotel Irina beach offers a premium location next to the sandy beach litterally a breath a way from the endless blue only 10 metres from a quiet strech of pebble beach you will enjoy a memorable stay. Tigaki resort centre is 2,2 km away with a number of welcome shops and tavernas en route.
Travel Information
From the complex you have the stunning costal views of both the Turkish mainland and the nearby Greek Islands of Kalymnos and Pserimos The Island`s airport is a 15 minute taxi ride away. Tigaki centre is 2.2 km away and can be walked in 25 minutes! But with a number of welcome tavernas and bars en route, you might want to take a little longer. There is also a local bus service which serves both Tigaki and Kos Town.

We really needed to get out for a week to get some sun and air, to relax and spend time with the kids. This was perfect for it. Pool, beach and sea directly in front of the hotel. They even had stuff to play with in the pool like balls and air-mattress. Half an hour walk to the town, and also possible by bus or bike. Bus stops close to hotel, also to Kos Town. There is a grocerie shop in the hotel and a farm-shop a little further, very close. We bought and cooked our own breakfast in our apartment and had diners in the hotel, in town, a little further than the hotel very close, in Kos and along the way. We hired a 4x4 via the hotel for a terrific day around the Island. Via the hotel you have better insurance than directly with a car-hire-company. Every day they clean the room if you like. We had our own balcony with sight on pool and sea and we had a 2 (hard!) beds and 2 sofa-like beds for the kids in the separate 'kitchen-room'. Staff is very friendly and owners may seem a bit aloof or surly, but once you talk to them in a nice way or make some jokes, they are great. We would definitely go again to this apart-hotel, especially also for the good price-quality ratio and purpose we had with this holiday. Thank you Irina Beach hotel. | 5 |

The hotel has a very nice swimming pool facing the sea, and direct access to the beach. The beach has a bit of seaweed, if it was cleaned it would be more enjoyable. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and food at the restaurant could be improved. It would be nice to have fruit or a fresh orange juice for breakfast. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking to tigaki center where there are many restaurants and bars. I think the hotel is perfect for families with young children in search of a quiet holiday enjoying the pool, the beach and Kos island. We had great vacations, thanks a lot to Irina Beach staff for everything, we will definitely come back! | 5 |
